It is high noon in the desert, and two windswept trees anchored in a rock hillside pay homage to the passage of time, while simultaneously holding oracle to it. The near duo-chrome coloration of trees and rock, against gradated near night sky, makes this pair an obvious addition to the Trees Humming™ series.

The photo is shot from a very low angle, looking up as the trees rise like monolithic hulls from the stone. While the desert heats their trunks white hot, and sculptural branches curl and bend up orange brown crowning the pair. These whites and browns coupled with the stark remains of the trees reaching to the heavens create a feel of Archaic ruins left baking in the deserted Desert.

This is a statement piece with its deep fading blue, which could easily add a pop of color to a monochromatic design, for which the trees and rock would be complimentary.
