I choose a very specific focus within the wildflower, oftentimes tight composition, and play strongly with the depth of field inherent to close-up (macro) photography. In doing so, I tease out personality and animation from a wildflower that would otherwise remain untapped, and help the viewer experience unseen Flower Essences.
