The Bee Moments series focuses on capturing unique moments to make bees more relatable. It also occasionally has the opportunity to present a unique variation of a somewhat common bee. This Sweat Bee is just such an example.

It might seem odd to make the focus of a picture a bee's turned up bum. However, every angle I photographed this Sweat Bee from, its abdomen was bent up and over almost like a scorpion’s tale. I have never seen a bee with its abdomen bent up like this. It is truly an amazing One of a Kind bee, which I believe is best celebrated by the particular angle of this shot. Just off from straight on facing its audience, felt much more active and inviting than a profile shot of this same star.

The soft greens and lavenders of this fine art print mean it can easily add elegance to any space. While the subject itself provides a sense of raw inspiration and determination, upon further inspection, which would be appropriate from bedroom, to office, to even a play room. Because don’t we all need a consistent reminder that we too are One of a Kind, and need to Celebrate our Individuality?
